A same day loan can also give borrowers access to cash quickly without meeting traditional lenders’ more exacting standards, especially regarding credit scores or financial backgrounds.

You’ll be glad to learn that Fundo offers this loan type to our borrowers, and we go the extra mile by making sure our loans are easy to apply for and manage.

But how do you know if a same day loan is the right one for you? Let’s take a look at the details.

How do same day loans work?

Same day loans are generally available online as unsecured quick loans that are processed, reviewed, and released within twenty-four hours (or calendar or business days, depending on the lending provider or facility) from applications being submitted. However, depending on the loan amount, they may also be offered as secured loans, especially if the intended loan amount is in five digits or higher.

That said, most borrowers don’t require such high amounts to address their emergency expenses. Such hefty loans may actually deter many potential borrowers from taking on loans, especially from traditional lenders, either because the offered loan terms are too long or the interests are too high.

It’s important to clarify that while a bad credit loan falls under personal loans, not all same day loans are strictly quick loans for bad credit.

Accordingly, Fundo offers short-term personal credit products as well. These short-term loans are great for developing your credit history and score with both credit reporting agencies (like Equifax and illion) and with us through our unique scoring system (Fundo Customer Score) for our valued borrowers.

The Fundo Customer Score

The Fundo Customer Score is a special benefit we offer our borrowers to incentivise healthy borrowing habits. Borrowers can be rewarded by a unique scoring system which recognises behaviours like timely payments and early loan payouts. If you don’t have too many loans from other providers, that also helps your Fundo Customer Score. Generally, the higher your Fundo Customer Score, the more likely you are to be approved.

Conversely, the lower your Fundo Customer Score, the more likely you are to get declined for same day loans. We’re also likely to lower your Fundo Customer Score if your due repayments fail to come through on time.

You can review your Fundo Customer Score and other loan details through our interactive self-service dashboard, where we also share financial wellness advice and tips with our borrowers. This feature comes at no cost to you, so be sure to check your dashboard regularly. Be diligent and keep track of your Fundo Customer Score to support your journey of financial improvement.

How long do same day loan applications take?

The good news about same day loans is that, for the most part, lenders and loan providers take the “same day” part seriously. This means that if your loan application meets an online lender’s criteria, your funds can be disbursed to your nominated bank account or digital wallet within the day.

Granted, some lenders may include an allowance of up to 24 hours from receiving an application to review applications thoroughly in case unavoidable circumstances like banking delays occur.

At Fundo, for example, our team of consultants process applications from Monday to Friday during business hours (9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.) and Saturday (9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.). If we receive your application during business hours, we’ll process it as soon as possible, and you could be on your way to receiving your funds within the day.

On the other hand, if your application comes in near the end of the business day, it’s likely that we’ll get back to you within the next 24 hours or the following business day. This is so we ensure we’re not missing any details from your application when we assess it, and so your nominated bank can receive or otherwise process your loaned funds in real time.

Fundo accepts applications for loan amounts of $500 up to $10,000, with loan terms of 5 to 20 weeks. Our loans are for personal or non-business purposes as well, which makes them ideal for things like travel expenses or wedding costs, among others.

What are the requirements for same day loans in Australia?

To apply for Fundo’s same day loans, borrowers must meet certain requirements. These requirements are as follows.

Applicant must be at least eighteen years old

Applicants must be residing in Australia

Applicant must have a regular after-tax income of at least $1,000 per fortnight

Applicant must demonstrate an ability to meet repayment deadlines

A key component of Fundo’s credit philosophy is to lend responsibly. To this extent, we are likely not to approve applications for rapid loans if it puts an applicant at risk of financial hardship. Regarding our same day loans, applicants may also be required to demonstrate that they can comfortably meet their repayments, either through their credit history or existing credit score.

If you’ve been looking for online loans that you can take advantage of, then Fundo’s same day loans are designed for your needs. Loans of up to $10,000 are available by applying with us today.

Disclaimer: Please note that any opinions expressed in this article are strictly for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice. Does having bad credit affect what I can borrow?

We believe everyone should get a fair go at finance, especially when they’re in need and are looking to cover unexpected and sudden expenses. You can borrow from as little as $500 to $10,000, which might cover dental or medical bills, appliance replacement, emergency home or car repairs, urgent travel, and much more.

What is a Fundo Customer Score?

The Fundo Customer Score is a special raft of advantages we provide our loyal and valued customers to reward safe borrowing practices. Borrowers may engage with their Fundo Customer Score by paying back same day loans on time, or even in advance. If you don’t have too many loans from other suppliers, it also boosts your Fundo Customer Score. Generally, the better your Fundo Customer Score, the more likely you are to get accepted for a loan now and into the future.

I need help with my dashboard. Can I call someone?

Yes, you can call Fundo on 1800 161 391 during our office hours: Monday-Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm or Saturday between 9.00am and 5.00pm (AEST). You may ask the finance or technical team any questions that you have about applications or how to use the dashboard. Otherwise, you can submit your request in writing to hello@fundo.com.au, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

I don’t want you to check my credit score. Can I get a same day loan?

We can, and often, provide Personal Loans to eligible customers. Everyone who applies for finance or a financial product must give their express oral or written permission to a credit inquiry.

If we do need to check your credit, we will only proceed if you consent. However, we do also use our own methods of determining eligibility for a same day loan, though this may take a bit more time and you may get your cash with some measure of delay, especially if it’s outside of business hours. We do strive to get you the cash as quickly as possible, we understand how urgent some of these expenses and bills can be.

What kind of documents should I have on hand to speed up processing times?

If we ask for documents, we will usually ask for photocopies or photos of official government ID, bank statements, recent bills confirming your address, and/or Centrelink statements or payslips as evidence of income. Note that much of the identification and due diligence process at Fundo is automated, which enables us to provide a fast application and quick funds transfer for eligible applicants. Prior applicants with a Fundo account and credit score will most likely not have to produce any documents when applying for additional loans.

I got an email saying I can get a loan with almost no interest rate and nothing to pay for six months and all I have to do is pay a small fee. Is this true?

No, this is almost certainly a scam. If you get an email from Fundo or any other bank or lender that offers you ultra-low interest rates or other “too good to be true” offers in exchange for a small payment or your complete banking and personal details, send the email to spam, do not click on any links, and forward any suspicious looking emails to hello@fundo.com.au or Scamwatch.

Is a same day loan the same as applying for a credit card?

No, a credit card is a type of revolving credit where the line of credit remains open even after you make repayments in full. A loan is a type of instalment credit, where each payment you make contributes towards paying off the principal (the amount borrowed) and the interest (the fees and charges imposed by a lender for advancing you the cash) until the entire loan amount is paid off in full.

Credit cards and lines of credit may also charge fees just for being active in the form of annual fees or service fees. Credit cards can also charge compounding interest on unpaid balances if you do not pay off the entire balance in full each month. Small same day loans have fixed fees and interest rates as outlined in your loan agreement and repayment schedule.

Same Day Loans If you’ve ever faced a surprise financial gap in your budget at least once in your adult life, then you’ve likely considered applying for same day loans…

[30,1,12
